Ray’s Journey

Ray Reynosa’s childhood began on the Southside of San Antonio, Texas. At the tender age of 2, he found himself homeless on the city streets, with only his 14- year-old brother as his caretaker, fleeing from domestic violence.

Growing up, Reynosa endured a journey, moving between various homes, often unaware of the whereabouts of his parents or siblings. He lacked the stable and nurturing environment of a house, yearning for the attention and love it could provide.

Navigating through his teenage years, Reynosa struggled with feelings of isolation, rebellion, and academic challenges. Yet, with the unwavering support and guidance of perceptive educators who saw his potential, he found a path to higher education.

Graduating from the University of Texas San Antonio, in 2019 with a Bachelors in business, spending time in a corporate leadership role to now pursing entrepreneurship. Reynosa reflects on the profound impact of his community and mentors who selflessly imparted their wisdom, love, and resources.

Now, Reynosa's mission is clear: to pay forward the empathy and investment he received by nurturing the next generation of leaders. He is committed to empowering young minds, just as others did for him. His message being “Make The Climb” inspiring students to preserver through life’s challenging moments so they too can experience what awaits them at the top.

In 2023, Reynosa added another chapter to his journey by publishing his first children's book, "Rocky's Adventure." Inspired by his own life lessons, this book aims to impart simple yet profound wisdom to young readers, echoing his journey of resilience and growth.
